The temp at 6am this morning was 26 degrees and snow. I'm sitting in my kitchen in the favorite chair by the window. I'm watching the Chickadees, American Goldfinch and woodpeckers enjoying the suet hanging out under the deck roof. The snow is falling heavy on the backs of Glory, Apache and Lunch & Dinner. Across the field I see that there is no deterring Lavina from hanging her wash out in this weather. The wood stove has been fed and it's warm in the house. Now, all I need to do is bake something.
