Spring Is Here! 05/14/2011
No kidding! Spring usually arrives sometime after winter. However, this year spring wasn't so quick in showing itself. John & I went to Florida at the end of March for four weeks. We literally stepped into summer with 90 degree days, and sun that could roast a person's skin in ten minutes or less. When we arrived back in Michigan at the end of April we found winter still had a very good grasp of the weather situation. Now, here in the middle of May things are beginning to bloom or leaf out. We had 80+ degree weather over the last two days with today rainy and chilly. The garden is planted, but I still keep a lookout for freezing temps so I can cover the plants. May is my favorite month. I wish it would last longer than a few days. CommentsLaura McNeill 05/16/2011 19:54
